sublimation
Sublimation is the process of transferring ink to a product using heat. During the process of sublimation a solid ink that is printed on to a special paper transfers to a special coated product. Sublimation happens when you add high temperatures to the solid ink which will in turn to a gas without ever turning into a liquid, and the pores in the specially coated product open up, allowing the gas form of ink to enter. Once the product begins cooling, the ink cools and reverts back to it's solid state, and becomes part of the special coating.
